Hostway is looking for a Strategic Acquisition Field Sales Executive who has a proven track record of personally identifying, engaging, and winning net new logos. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about solving customers’ problems with Hostway solutions, individuals who have extensive experience in the cloud and hosting space. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts & Partnerships, the Strategic Acquisition Field Sales Executive will create a new territory plan for Mid-Market to Enterprise companies, develop the strategy, penetrate a specific territory to generate net new logos & new customers for Hostway. The successful candidate will be able to personally generate leads, qualify prospects, and close new leads, while hitting a monthly sales quota.
The Strategic Acquisition Field Sales Executive should be able to adjust to industry trends in order to identify areas of opportunity and develop plans around these areas to increase new revenue for Hostway. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze a specific territory and vertical market.
Develop a clearly defined strategy to penetrate a specific area of opportunity for Hostway.
Generate qualified sales leads from personal contacts, new outbound efforts, or potential partners.
Engage appropriate teams to navigate a mid-market company’s decision making process.
Update client information in the company contact database.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
6+ years of experience in outside sales.
Must be willing to travel up to 40% percent of the time.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with little to no direction.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills & strong board room presence.
