General Description

Summary / Overview:

Ensures daily on-time delivery in a foundry fabrication operation. Node owner is responsible for all manufacturing requirements for the assigned products. This includes capacity planning, business process development, lean manufacturing improvements, 24 x 7 coordination, and node supply chain maintenance. Possesses data analysis skills needed to find issues and interpersonal skills necessary to implement solutions both internally and externally.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Track production metrics and KPIs

  • Coordinate daily supply chain needs with global supply chain group and takes actions to meet daily shipments

  • Coordinate with engineer groups to improve capacity and improve TAT performance

  • Capacity planning and gap analysis

  • Systems scheduling metric analysis and setup improvement

  • Equipment efficiency analysis

  • Benchmark global factory performance and create business processes within manufacturing

  • Identify areas of improvement within manufacturing

  • Lead cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes

  • Present supply situation clearly to executives to facilitate company decisions

Necessary Skills / Attributes

  • 2-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2 years minimum experience with demonstrated success in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management

  • Semiconductor experience preferred

  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data and provide issue resolution to closure

  • Highly detail-oriented

  • Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization

  • Excellent critical thinking skills; recognize third and fourth order effects of a catalyst event

  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills; recognize friction points and resolve delays in material delivery

  • Skilled in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • SQL, VBA skills preferred

  • Advanced Excel data analysis skills required

  • Ability to take a proactive approach to overcome challenges and achieve results

  • Flexible and team oriented
