Gensler’s Dallas office is seeking a Mid Level Interior Designer for workplace interiors.
Perform interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents.
Provide design support for completion and execution of design projects.
Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications.
Provide project team coordination for the plans, specifications and materials.
Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and samples.
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
6 to 10 years of experience, licensed or pursuing license in interior design or architecture.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design or architecture.
Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team.
Proficiency in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Sketchup, PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator. Understanding of 3D Studio Max and InDesign is a plus.
Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
