Texas Health Dallas has initiated a search for a Registered Nurse in the Trauma Med/Surg Department to join their team..
7a-7p, 3 shifts a week, rotating weekends, 2 major and 2 minor holidays required.
Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs. BSN preferred.
RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.
Texas Board of Nursing license to practice as a RN, Current AHA BLS & ACLS training. One of the following upon hire: RN-BC, CCRN, ONC, Trauma. Charge Nurse Preferred.
The RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care.
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment is also a must.
