Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Manufacturing Engineer Associate for the F-35 Strategic Corrective Action team. Position provides assistance in corrective action of manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Develops sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Will collaborate with Sr. Engineers in discovering universal F-35 production defects or process deficiencies, driving root cause analysis and holistic corrective action.

Basic Qualifications Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Electrical Engineering Degree or similar. Knowledge of mechanical or electrical system problem solving. Microsoft Office tool suite experience.

Desired skills Ability to extrapolate actionable information from large quantities of raw data is needed. Aircraft manufacturing experience. Communication skills (oral and written). Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving skills. Candidate must be a proactive self-starter. Hands-on experience with machines, tools, systems.
