This is a tenure-track faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level in the Division of Biostatistics at The University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston Campus in the Texas Medical Center. Additional Summary Specific to Job The Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials (CCCT) was established in 1971 and has been a leader in the cardiovascular disease and vision research. The CCCT has received almost $200 million dollars in funding and has served as a coordinating center for 17 nationwide multicenter clinical trials. The CCCT is currently directed by Dr. Barry R. Davis. The position offers extensive opportunities for research leadership and collaboration within UTSPH, the Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials and the University of Texas Health Science Center. We are seeking an outstanding candidate with experience in clinical trials and coordinating centers. The individual will collaborate with other scientists to develop ideas for funding research as well as contribute to statistical and clinical trials methodology.
