CTI FOODS Quality Assurance Supervisor I in SAGINAW, Texas

Position Purpose: The Quality Assurance Supervisor I is responsible for the quality control of all products coming into and going out of the plant to ensure that it meets ChefCo and customer standards. This position will be responsible for supervising and directing up to 3 Technicians and QA leads on the Production Floor. The QA Supervisor I has the authority necessary to achieve the quality control standards. Principal Accountabilities: *Responsible for directing the technical services staff, during shift, to oversee all phases of production to ensure product compliance and quality. *Training and supervising Technical Services staff. Maintain a written record for all subordinates including: training logs, communications, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations. *Responsible for product and process evaluation taking appropriate intervention steps as appropriate when problems are found. *Responsible for training and implementation of regulatory compliance programs including, but not limited to; HACCP, SSOP s, GMP s. Position Qualifications: 3 years of experience in a production environment with at least 2 years in QC position *Good understanding of mathematics *Ability to read and write English with technical competency *Experience in a HACCP environment, preferably with USDA Certifications/Training Required: *HAZCOM, Hearing Protection *Lockout *HACCP *Prior work history of at least 3 months of continuous work with the same employer in the last 12 months *Must be at least 18 years of age *Must pass specific Background criteria *Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and can provide proof upon hire *Must be wiling to submit to pre-employment drug screen. *Food manufacturing a plus
