POSITION PURPOSE:

Hostway is seeking a Business Account Manager. The Business Account Manager is responsible for maintaining customer accounts and generating new growth opportunities through consultative development of clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for full cycle sales from lead to close

  • Display superior presentation and negotiation skills in order to gain new business

  • Be expected to meet and exceed a monthly sales quota

  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to provide the right solution to the customer

  • Maintain a clear understanding of how customers are using Hostway Solutions on a technical, business and executive level to ensure they are using the full Hostway portfolio

  • Ensures high customer satisfaction during the on-boarding, installation, and support process

Requirements

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 - 7 years successful installed base business to business sales experience

  • Experience of strategic selling at Executive and Board level

  • B2B Sales experience

  • Advanced knowledge in professional sales training, sales strategies and sales process.

  • Possesses superior follow up skills with the ability to respond under pressure

  • Able to work to a monthly target and be able to effectively communicate over the phone, through email and face-to-face

  • Superior negotiation skills

  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills

  • Goal oriented with superior work ethic

  • Proven territory / vertical market sales development skills

  • Effective time management skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information and ideas to others so that they will understand the concepts.

  • Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred

  • Sales experience in hosting industry preferred
