Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 1 year of the following experience is required:
Outside Sales Experience
Plumbing Industry Experience
Progressive Industry Experience
Ability to read blueprints preferred.
Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to read a map and/or follow written directions.
Must pass company required drug screen and physical.
Must be a minimum age of 21 years old and maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to Coburn’s customer and company branch locations.
Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Must be able to communicate professionally in person and via phone, fax and computer in an office environment. Must possess the mental ability to understand vendor products and research information to respond to customer needs. A consistent presence at work is required.
In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
New Business Development
Sales volume and profit are increased by acquiring new accounts.
Sales & Profits are increased by introducing new products, increasing individual customer’s sales volumes, and retaining customer loyalty.
Customer loyalty is maintained by providing Coburn’s exceptional level of customer service as measured through increased sales and profits, customer retention, customer feedback and/or satisfaction ratings.
Knowledge is developed and maintained in order to increase credibility with customers, as measured through increased sales and customer loyalty.
