Current Need

Reporting to the Director GPO Services, the Account Executive, GPO Services will be responsible for executing against an annual $34M GP plan and driving enhanced performance of the Onmark/Unity GPO Services’ business. The AE will work collaboratively with the Director and the VPs to oversee the Onmark/Unity GPO business, participate on the Contract Steering Committee, and serve as the primary provider-facing liaison for the Onmark/Unity GPOs to drive contract performance and provider engagement with the GPO Services business. In addition, the AE will identify, develop, sell, and implement initiatives which leverage the GPO Services’ relationships with office-based providers to generate contracts that benefit Onmark/Unity GPO members and generate revenues from pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Position Description

Serve as a leader representing the Onmark/Unity GPO Services business to internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for executing against annual plan in excess of $34M gross profit and other business goals.

  • Responsible for identifying key success factors and strategies to drive enhanced performance for Onmark/Unity GPO services

Work collaboratively with the Director, VPs, Clinical Specialist, Business Development, Analytics and Membership Services teams to develop contracts which uniquely leverage and position Onmark/Unity more favorably than other GPOs in the community-based oncology market.

Drive engagement on performance-based contracts for Onmark/Unity members

  • Work collaboratively with the Director, VPs, Pharma Account Executives, the Clinical Specialist Teams and other stakeholders to drive contract performance and provider engagement with the GPO Services business.

  • Be the contract champion with Onmark/Unity practices

Provide key performance indicator information and other metrics demonstrating Onmark/Unity contract and membership performance.

Participate in and drive key manufacturer and customer meetings.

Minimum Requirements

5 years experience in project management, including 2 years managerial experience.

Critical Skills

Bachelors degree required (in Business, Management Science, Mathematics or Economics)

Over 5 years of experience in leadership, business analysis, and strategy development in management consulting, technology, or consumer-packaged goods environment.

Previous Group Purchasing Organization experience is a plus

Healthcare experience required, specifically Oncology experience highly preferred

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required

Strong service selling, service delivery and client relationship skills.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Previous experience working with or for pharmaceutical manufacturers is a plus

Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations

Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Leadership skills with experience working in matrix organization

Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact

Proven ability to establish, enhance and manage customer relationships and leverage those relationships to drive revenue and profit.

Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment

familiarity with Tableau a plus

Education

4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
