Role Description:

The Infra Tech Support Analyst will provide routine and ad hoc enterprise wide infrastructure management and support activities leveraging packaged and custom software tools. Analyst will be designated as primary owner for specific enterprise management activities and will become the TMHP expert in those activities. The Infra Tech Support Analyst will also provide Tier 3 Application Services support and troubleshooting with respect to operating system, network, hardware and general technical infrastructure issues. The Analyst will be encouraged and expected to identify, document and implement infrastructure management process and software efficiencies with support from management. The Analyst will be part of a team that is constantly assigned new challenges that need creative technical solutions, and will participate in the creation of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and Maintain Application Availability.

  • This includes ensuring that the application is active and operating as defined in any Service Level Agreements Monitor Application in Production Environment.

  • This includes the periodic monitoring of servers, applications, etc. through the use of manual and automated means.

  • Facilitate outage investigation restoration of service to Production Environment.

  • Organize any conference call, meetings, etc. needed to facilitate the investigation of Production outages problems and the subsequent restoration of service.

  • Schedule and track application software updates in Production Environment.

  • Use the current Change Management Process and tool to create and distribute work orders associated with application software updates.

  • Ensure that software distribution work orders are successfully completed.

  • Periodically audit Production servers to ensure the currency of software loads.

  • Monitor system security, application and system events.

  • Communicate and work with users as necessary to resolve application errors.

  • Establish, monitor and evaluate system metrics.


Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft OS desktop and server

• Minimum 1 year of experience with knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Sharepoint admin and end user support

• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

• Strong coaching and project management skills

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

• Bachelor degree or higher in the discipline of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
