Travel Required: 5% Duties: * Responsible for assisting with patient education, referrals, refills, patient follow ups with results, questions, etc. and administering vaccines/allergy injections, nurse visits, tracking and ordering vaccines, and assisting providers with patient care. * Provides patient care and assistance to the provider and other nursing staff; educates patients under the direction of the nursing and provider staff per program protocols; provides nursing care to patients according to program protocols, including lab services, injections, phlebotomy and screenings; and other duties as required. Education & Work Experience Required: * Bilingual (Spanish/English) * High school diploma or GED; * 1 3 months work experience as Medical Assistant in a healthcare facility or clinic setting; * Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Preferred: 1-3 months Injection and lab experience; OB/FP experience Certifications Required: Current CPR certification; current certification as Medical Assistant (CMA) $500 Sign On Bonus For BILINGUAL required positions: Must be Bilingual and have applicable experience to qualify for bonus.
