Purpose & Scope : Perform tasks involved with documenting, and maintaining the records of all the required regulations for the CAFO systems, PWS systems and mortality composting system involved with the Dalhart Live Pork Operation. Good attention to ensure accuracy and quality.

Need to be organized enough to produce multiple reports with conflicting deadlines.

Principle Responsibilities: Functions may include but are not limited to

  • Ability to get class D certification on water operations from TCEQ within 6 months of hire

  • Weekly report printout and documentation for each potable water system

  • Weekly updates of wastewater application on CAFO PRO

  • Documented wastewater audits of each site (CAFO PRO)

  • Month end DLQOR calculations and documentations

  • DLQOR completed form submittal every quarter to TCEQ office.

  • Ability to complete Tier 2 reports for the site, yearly

  • CAFO reports and TRI reports, yearly

  • Ability to compile and submit the ground water report from the well water numbers

  • Soil, compost and wastewater sampling and processing

  • Performs other duties assigned by management as needed.

Travel Required: Occasional for training purposes

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel software programs

  • Team oriented

  • Ability to work under time constraints

  • Self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Class D water operating license

  • Some or completed college in related field

  • Multi language skills (helps in presenting topics to diverse set of employees)


  • Interact with fellow EIG employees to perform daily tasks

  • Interaction with other teams such as LRG, maintenance, farm employees and management
