Rushmore Loan Management Services Manager, Loan Acquisition in Dallas, Texas
The Loan Acquisition Manager will perform supervisory functions within the loan servicing platform. Areas of focus include newly acquired acquisitions, service release and reconciliation. Performance of all duties must be in accordance with Rushmore policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day-to-day operations of the Loan Acquisition Department including acquisition/service release and reconciliation processes and staff members.
Responsible for ongoing maintenance of servicing transfer instructions, procedures and communication to ensure all business ad customer needs are met.
Work with lenders to transfer and service residential mortgage loans.
Coordinate delivery, set-up and research of servicing transfers and acquisitions of loan portfolios.
Analyze practices and procedures of servicers to ensure a smooth transfer process.
Perform reconciliation efforts to ensure high level of data integrity.
Primary point of contact for Rushmore business units, servicers and vendors.
Researches and resolve variances in loan documentation prior to and after loan boarding.
Process post funding adjustments on discrepancies between purchase advice and servicer data.
Produces moderately complex internal communications to each business unit to inform of current servicing transfers.
Works directly with target audiences and subject matter experts to determine needs, establish tasks and milestones and acquire relevant information to produce and deliver communication, policies and procedures.
Ensures regulatory guidelines are met.
Assist all other areas of Loan Administration – Acquisitions as needed.
Participate in required conference calls with prior servicers, management team and internal departments to ensure a smooth conversion and transition to the servicing areas.
Facilitate conversion-related inquiries and maintain detailed records of each conversion.
Complete all tasks assigned including post conversion responsibilities.
Analyzes and creates internal operational reports and assesses productivity, quality of work, process workflow functionality, and directs and mentors departmental staff.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Knowledge and Experience with annual examinations USAP, REG AB, and State Examiners.
Effective and decisive decision making skills and sound judgment are essential.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Very strong organizational, deductive reasoning and analytical skills to effectively multi-task and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment ability to work well independently, as well as, part of a team to achieve department/group goals.
Process improvement planning and implementation skills.
Ability to work in high volume and time sensitive environment.
Well versed with regulatory and investor guidelines and keeps current with all Federal, State, industry specific and departmental policies.
Research skills and technical understanding of loan servicing.
Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Five years of experience in mortgage acquisition, loan servicing or in a related area.
Experience in investor and/or customer relations or escalations.
Knowledge of commonly used terminology, mortgage documents, concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage industry.
MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:
PC computer with Windows operating system, facsimile, photocopier
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Access)
Proficiency in MSP, subject matter expert preferred
Familiarity and working knowledge of databases and corporate loan servicing systems
