Baylor Scott & White Health Remote Coding Auditor in Dallas, Texas
The Coding Auditor is responsible for performing coding quality audits, providing feedback to coders, and educating coders. The Coding Auditor utilizes the International Classification of Disease (ICD-10 CM & PCD) and Physicians Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and other coding references to ensure accurate coding and Diagnosis Related Group (MS_DRG and APR-DRG) assignment. The Coding Auditor reviews, researches and processes bulling edits/ The Coding Auditor provides coverage for the Coder positions as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, auditing and accuracy and will posses hospital based (CCS or RHIT or RHIA or CIRCC) or for the Professional fee based (CPC or COC or CIC) and at least 1 year of coding audit experience.

• H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, CPC-P, COC, CIC or CIRCC certification required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience required
Must have HIM AUDITOR experience.
