Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to provide support for the accomplishment of the USASMDC/ARSTRAT's execution of operational responsibilities for the Integrated and Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) training Mission.

  • Support to the ADA Homeland Defense NCR-IADS Mission

  • Support National Capital Region (NCR) Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) Training and Certification events using Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) ADA with 263rd AAMDC ARNG units, along with distributed Joint Air Defense Operation Center-Training (JADOC-T) Tactical Control Officer/Tactical Control Assistant (TCO/TCA) and Battle Captain training events including support to NCR Task Force Culminating Training Events (CTEs). Host annual Battalion and Command and Control (C2) CTEs.

  • Plan and provide Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Support.

  • Plan and Develop Airspace Command and Control (AC2) Solutions.

  • Plan and provide Fires Digital Sustainment Training

  • Plan and provide Joint Common Operational Picture (JCOP).

  • Plan and provide Exercise Support.

  • Plan and provide Testing Support.

  • Provide Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Support.

  • Plan and conduct Analysis.

The Senior Logistics Specialist provides leadership,performs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) by performing logistics support analyses, level of repair analyses, integrated logistic support planning, logistic site support surveys and other ILS functions as required and is considerably more knowledge than the entry and mid-level Logistics Specialist.

Experience levels are generally expected to indicate from 0-5 years performing relevant tasks for “entry level” personnel, 5-12 years for “mid-level” personnel, and 12 years for “senior” personnel, but may vary based on company policies, types of jobs help, levels of responsibility exercised, and educations levels.

This position is posted in anticipation of contract award to STS.

Required Experience

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience is required; Master's degree is preferred.

  • 12+ years' experience performing relevant tasks, including:

  • 1+ year experience in integrating external both external radars (FAA radars) with local tactical radars and operating and integrating Multi Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT), US Air Force’s Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), and Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS)

  • 1+ year of Distributed Mission Operations Air Defense Artillery (DMO-ADA) experience

  • 1+ year experience in operating and developing Patriot gunnery tables 1-12 for training scenarios in Reconfigurable Table Top Trainers (RT3)

  • 1+ year experience in working with the with the Joint Modernization Command; knowledgeable in both Air and Missile Defense and Field Artillery Operations

  • Knowledge of Patriot Air and Missile Defense Air Battle Management at the Battalion ICC and Battery ECS and BCP levels

  • Knowledgeable of the ADAFCO role and the integration of ADAFCOs into RT3 training.

  • Strong communication skills with all levels of management, including high level executives

  • Current Secret clearance
