This position is responsible for non-skilled service work while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all Tyson policies and procedures.
This position requires the successful candidate to maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position is responsible for cleaning areas which includes but not limited to freezers, docks, break rooms, offices and restrooms. Other duties include picking up and emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, recycling and many other custodial tasks. Applicants must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees. Must be able and willing to stand throughout 8-10 hour shifts. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.
Must be willing to work Saturdays. Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given. Must be willing to learn other duties. Must have worked 3 of the last 6 months with one employer. REHIRE POLICY- Rehires will be considered if ALL of the following applies 1. You have only worked for Tyson one time previously. 2. You worked for Tyson for at least 6 months. 3. It has been at least 6 months since your last employment with Tyson. 4. You left your employment at Tyson for one of the following reasons Moving Away, Excessive Hours, Another Job, Work Environment, Transportation, Return to School, Lack of Job Satisfaction, Work Schedule, Stay Home with Children, ID Protocol, Retirement, Personal Reasons, Permanent Layoff, or Expired Work Eligibility Documents.
