The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I is to provide technical and coordination skills in carrying out research projects.


Animal modeling (injection, behavioral testing)

Work with tissues of laboratory mice (molecular biology and biochemistry)

Transgenic mouse colony management

Isolation and culture of leukocytes (from mice and patients)

Prepares plasma and serum samples from patients enrolled in clinical trials

Responsible for intake and registration of samples

Other duties as assigned



Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences.



No experience.

Some experience in laboratory work
