What you get to do every day - Comfortable in taking on tasks beyond formal job responsibilities - Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual - Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management - Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Assure client expectations are met by reviewing deliverables of self and team - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation - Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports
