Need a strong individual to work directly with Risk Groups, Relationship Managers, Treasury Solutions, Client Service and clients to coordinate required activities and documentation from all parties including BSA/AML, fraud, compliance and monitoring information. The individual should have a strong working knowledge of BSA/AML requirements as well as NACHA rules and regulations, Treasury Management Products, SOC, and PCI audits

  • Develop and manage strong working relationships with business units, sales, management and clients

  • Monitor and provide status reports on all SDS Clients using sources across different departments of the bank, flagging potential issues on high risk Clients in a timely manner

  • SDS industry specific monitoring not included elsewhere in the bank

  • Provide reporting/escalation on compliance programs and risks to RM’s and SDS Governance Committee

  • Assist with Compliance Risk Assessments required by business units for SDS Clients

  • Work with bank reporting groups to obtain required NACHA compliance reports for SDS Clients and other reports as necessary

  • Prospect/ Client Site Visits as necessary

  • Assist in the development of required documentation and forms for initial and annual review of Clients for the SDS Governance Committee

  • Assist in the development of SDS Governance policies and procedures

  • Provide industry specific advice to the SDS Governance Committee across all high risk industries (such as third party service providers, money service businesses, alternative investment services)

  • Provide expert regulatory advice, challenge and oversight on compliance matters to business units and SDS Governance Committee members

  • Serve as compliance representative and advisor for assigned new business initiatives and special projects

  • Stay current on the regulatory environment and expectations through discussions with peers, seminars, webinars, roundtables, bankers associations, etc.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by SDS Governance Committee

  • Be able to work with the Client and RM to resolve issues uncovered during the Enhanced Due Diligence review, where appropriate.

  • Governance Committee oversight

  • Assist in the preparation and facilitation of the SDS Governance Committee meeting and summary of the findings from the various reviews and audits that have been performed. Prepare recommendations and/or recommend course of action including client relationship go/no-go decisions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred; or equivalent years of experience

  • Specific knowledge of risk management, bank operations, products and services, or regulation

  • Certification or experience in audit, risk or compliance preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Extremely detail oriented and comfortable working both independently and in team settings

  • Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability

  • Ability to write reports and create presentations for executive management and external stakeholders

  • Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization

  • Strong Microsoft application knowledge. Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook

  • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time

  • AAP/CTP certification encouraged

  • Working knowledge of high risk industries such as third party service providers, money service businesses, alternative investment services is preferred
